Wait, what?
A $20 bill I entered into WheresGeorge.com (and labeled) on December 24th, 1999 was just entered onto the site again. Its average speed traveling from Ithaca to Concord, New Hampshire is 0.08 miles per day. :-) The note from when I entered the bill says I received it from M&T Bank (my former bank) the previous day.

I don't put all my bills in the system. Far from it. But every once in a while, I get a "hit" on a bill. This is by far the oldest bill with its first hit! In fact, I just logged onto the site and got a report. That was the first month I entered any bills! Four of the 37 bills I entered that month have had hits since.

The Department of Useless Statistics has announced this statistic three times per cubic gram each day. ;)

I love it when i get a hit, but I so rarely do that I gave up entering.
Might be b/c most of my bills I wrote on myself, instead of using one of the cool stamps

In my job, I handle cash, all day long. It surprises me how many times I run across wheresgeorge bills. I probably have the perfect kind of job for that site.
