Breakfast win
Chick-Fil-AGorgeous sunrise as I arrived at the airport this morning for my first flight to Philadelphia. I'm glad we had a jet today, and thus a very short flight, and I'm even more glad I was on the aisle. The gentleman next to me was trying his best to minimize his impact, but was wide enough that I didn't get an entire seat. I'm big enough myself that that doesn't work so well for me.

Chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit for breakfast at Chick-fil-a. Mmmm. The microbrew and sandwiches pub that I've visited several times adjacent to the same food court, and where seity1 and I watched "28 Days Later," turned into a froofy wine bar at some point. I noticed it in passing on the way back from San Francisco, but didn't have time for a close look. In addition to what looks like some good espresso, they offer cooked-to-order breakfasts that sound pretty good, for $5-10. May have to try that sometime.

Gorgeous sunrise as I arrived at the airport this morning for my first flight to Philadelphia.

The one and only consolation to flying early in the morning is getting to see the sunrise.

Speaking of Booze

Mike tells me that the most recent result of Wegmans ongoing restructuring of their interior is a large area of specialty beer! I kid you not! He made it sound like it was several aisles.

Re: Speaking of Booze

Yes, it's true. They're advertising something like 700 different kinds of beer from around the world. !! My co-worker (yes, that one) is currently very annoyed about this change because they also seem to have eliminated some variety in their grocery brands in certain areas to make space for aaaaaaaallllll the beer.

I asked Mike if there was anything from our regular groceries that he wasn't able to find - we always buy Wegmans brand if that's an option - and he said no. He did say that things were moved around and in funky new places.

My printed grocery list USED to be sorted according to Wegmans aisle layout. I probably should go through it slowly one of these nights and edit. I pride myself on being in the grocery store for a very short amount of time.

The most irritating part of the situation for me is the rearrangement, particularly after the complete rearrangement of the store last year. Once I located the items I needed, I didn't have issues with finding the brands I typically purchase (Wegmans and otherwise), but my co-worker clearly did run into problems and was quite miffed.

Good luck with the grocery list adjustment!

I swear to god they know exactly when I've finally gotten used to where everything is in that cavernous travesty. Because that's about when they decide to MESS AROUND WITH IT!!!

This is why I mostly shop at the P&C. Fewer choices, but I tend to spend a LOT less money because I find the things I need quickly and get the hell out...
