That Linguistics degree is coming in handy after all!
Make yourself at home...Flip-Flop/English Phrase Guide:

Wuf - Your house is making funny noises.

Grrrrrr (1) - I'm not sure I approve of this "snake" concept.

(Intent stare at Mark) - Don't you think you've slept long enough?

(Walk on Mark) - No, really, that's enough sleeping. We're going outside now.

Grrrrrr (2) - Look! There's another dog over in that driveway that we're walking near! Of all the nerve!

Woof woof woof woof! - I believe there's another dog somewhere outside your home, and I can't believe you're not as concerned about this issue as I am!

(Intent stare at speaker) - Dude! You have a TiVo! It makes the coolest bloops and bleeps!

For those of you who haven't already met Flip-Flop, he's a frequent visitor to TV Night whose human is out of town for the weekend.
