When you've got a guy whose pulse is just above the limit to give blood, and you give him a few minutes to see if that'll bring the pulse down, sending the really cute nurse over to do the re-check is just mean!
My pulse was 106 on the first check, and 102 on the second, but it had come down enough that they gave me another few minutes for a third check. I don't think they're supposed to, but it's the end of December and the blood drive was really slow. They needed my pint. I think in future I'll try to avoid going on a long walk with Penny and then heading right to a blood drive.
This month's giveaway was a long-sleeve American Red Cross t-shirt. I may wear it once, but it may be too big and I don't really do white t-shirts. (Long sleeve may be the exception.) Next month's giveaway is a voucher for a pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, which could come in handy! One of you should go get it. :-) And the snacks weren't that exciting, compared to the home-baked stuff that they have at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, which has a drive next month. But, as I said, end of December.
The above is this morning's weight, which is up a few pounds since last week, with all of the holiday shenanigans. The pint of blood will help with that! The next week should be a little more reasonable, too, with the possible exception of tomorrow's lunch.
