"Anything Goes"

It's been a long while since I've seen a high school play! A USS Accord contingent headed up the west side of the lake this afternoon for member Eric Becker's starring performance in the Cole Porter musical.

Eric, a new member, is just a ninth grader, but had one of the male leads! He was fantastic, and the show was a lot of fun. The sets and costumes were outstanding, and some of the singing was truly remarkable. That's Eric in the tux, as Sir Evelyn Oakley.

The last school play I went to was probably also with an Accord member, but was probably around a decade ago, when Ian was in "Into the Woods."

The pizzeria we were supposed to have lunch at before the 2pm matinee was closed, as is much of the rest of the town on Sunday, so we meandered down to Mark's Pizza. Good slices. Also a gorgeous day for driving up the lake, and walking around Ovid.

Now cooking up sauteed broccoli and garlic, and a can of stewed tomatoes, with some rigatoni.
