Flicker

Oops. The power flickering last night tripped the power strip that Charlie's tank is on, and if it happened before I went to bed, I didn't notice. Luckily, I wondered why her light wasn't on a little while ago, and went to look. Her heating pads and the timer her light is on were all off, so she probably had a chilly night. :-(

Annoyingly, it occurred to me yesterday afternoon while I was out driving around that I should put my spare UPS on that power strip, but I failed to do so. Maybe I'll get up off the couch and do it now, before I forget again.

Meantime, thanks to Tim for the reminder to change your smoke detector batteries when you change your clocks. (Mo also suggests spinning the mattresses in the spring, and flipping them in the fall.) One of my smoke detectors is hard-wired, but the other one needs two batteries, so it evens out. :-)
