Still winter on Lake Ontario?

Lake OntarioWell, not really, as it was in the upper 30s or lower 40s while we were up in Oswego. But the lake certainly looked frigid, and there were snow and ice ridges along the shore, and pockets of snow on hills that had probably been pretty deep until recently.

The occasion for tonight's drive was the opening last week of Rudy's Lakeside, home of the burger hot and fish hot. :-) After dinner we even swung by the original Oswego Subs, since I'd loved the Ithaca outlet but never saw the "mothership." I picked up an Italian sub, dressing on the side, for tomorrow's lunch. Mmm.
