Cute snake!

I love this story about the discovery in Barbados of the world's smallest snake.

"Thin as a spaghetti noodle and small enough to rest comfortably on a U.S. quarter," as Penn State described it, the snake was found by evolutionary biologist Blair Hedges, who has discovered, with colleagues, the world's smallest frog and lizard species, also in the Caribbean.

Charlie shed while I was away, as I expected her to (she'd been dormant for most of last week), and was clearly hungry last night, so I fed her. Thinking I was far enough out of the way, I tried to remove some of the shed skin while I was eating, but she rattled her displeasure at me. I waited until morning to remove the rest.
