Let me just say, that was one hell of an outstanding martini. I forgot the Gordon's part, so I bought D.H. Krahn at the liquor store, and ended up just using the Bombay I already had. I figure I'll use the Krahn when I'm not mixing it with so many things. It's such good gin by itself. Also, I used olives instead of a twist of lemon peel, but that's fine.
"Casino Royale" wasn't enough for Staci, so we also watched "Mission: Impossible III," making a late night. It was also an early morning, since I was meeting someone for breakfast. Saturday special at the Lincoln Street Diner... Cajun sausage gravy with cheddar biscuits and home fries! Chris had just popped the biscuits in the oven when we got there, so we had to twiddle our thumbs for a bit, but we got to talk. Becca's fun; she's a friend of Staci's who I met at her party several weeks ago, and she's one of the group from the Rosalie's Cucina trip the other night.
Catching up on a little TiVo; "Dexter" and "Californication" and now this week's "ER" with Anthony Edwards guest starring as Dr. Greene! Big group at the Nines tonight pre-game, followed by the Cornell v Colgate rematch. Let's Go Red!
