Need a new Mac?

According to Dave Zatz of zatznotfunny, Best Buy is discounting Macs $50-150 (depending on model) through the 26th (this Wednesday). The $100 off a MacBook just pushed him over the edge, and he's playing with it now. The laptop and iMac discounts range from $100-150, a Mac mini is $50 off, and Mac Pro desktops are $150 off.

Many of you may be able to get better deals with an academic discount at an Apple Store or a campus reseller (like the Technology Connection in the Cornell Store), but there's something to be said for the instant gratification of walking into a Best Buy and walking out with what you want. (This also doesn't touch your yearly limits on academic hardware purchases.)

Has anyone noticed if our Best Buy added the Apple store-in-a-store setup this fall? I know many stores have but many haven't.
