Today in brief

Went to see a friend in a fun two-performer, 40-minute version of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" designed for schoolkids. I guess it was the last show of the run, a public performance at IHS following their round of daytime performances at many schools around Central New York. Best part? Watching the cute little kids watch the play.

Proceeded with Staci and Alexi, who'd joined me for the play, to have something to eat at the State Diner, where as I commented on Facebook, I rarely go while sober! Chatted with SIL#1 and the Grandpunk for a bit; they were having a boy's afternoon out while EC#2 worked.

Enjoyable and low-key, if sparsely attended, Accord meeting, which doubled as our annual holiday party. Sadly, the shrimp didn't defrost in time.

Movies courtesy of TiVo with Staci, who helped me eat the now-defrosted shrimp. "Clerks II" and "Fall" were her picks from the available collection.
