I kind of like the immediacy of the anchor standing on a much starker set in front of a screen, rather than sitting behind a (cardboard or plywood) desk. The inescapable impression, though, is of a late-night talk show host doing the stand-up monologue at the start of the show.
Hm, looks like he's now in a more familiar setting. Too close a shot to actually see a desk, but he's moving as though he's sitting now. Perhaps it was like the stand-up monologue... just standing for a few minutes before settling into the show.
Silly me, I left the bleu cheese dressing out Tuesday night! Better toss this one and get a fresh bottle.
