Netflix just sent me an e-mail to say that the next movie in my queue isn't available today at my nearest shipping facility, so they're shipping it from a farther-away facility. As a result, it will take 3-5 days for that movie to reach me.
The nice surprise? To tide me over, they're sending an extra movie from my queue, from the nearest facility, even though that means I'll have four movies out for now, instead of the three-at-a-time I'm paying for. I assume when I next return one, it won't trigger another fourth movie being mailed.
That e-mail arrived shortly after I installed the shiny, new Netflix app for iPhone, which allows instant streaming in the palm of your hand... even on a cellular connection. Win.
