MartiniEver since Willow closed, I've been searching for a replacement for the Gorgy, their signature martini with gorgonzola-stuffed olives. Well, it's not on the menu, but the folks at The Heights Cafe offered to stuff some gorgonzola in some olives for me last night, and it was a great martini.

It was also pricey, as was the whole dinner! An unexpected splurge, after J.C. and I tried to go to Ciao to use one of my gift certificates, and could barely get in the parking lot. We both enjoyed dinner, but I was reminded why I tend not to go there: $$$.

Again, not quite the same, but Rogue's Harbor does a blue-cheese stuffed olive martini. I found the olive quite tasty.

I should give that a try. I'm just not sure a martini goes with wings, which is what I'm usually eating at Rogues'. :-)

I've enjoyed eating there, but I do definitely save it for a treat.

I have never been the The Heights Cafe.
