The plate looks a bit bare, because I really didn't bother with side dishes. I had the last of the shrimp from Saturday's tailgate as an appetizer while this boiled. If I'd really been planning a proper meal, I could've roasted or steamed some veggies and made a little rice to go with this, in the same 15 minutes. (Start to finish took longer; the water had to boil first.) I regretted skipping them, as this left me still a tad hungry, but eating less is good for me.
I'd rather start with fresh fish and grill or bake or what have you, but these frozen fillets, in sauce that at least doesn't seem to have any nasty ingredients, look like they'd be worth keeping in the freezer for emergencies. Of course, I won't always be able to get them for $1.50 a portion, but even at the full price of $5 a portion, it's not unreasonable.
