It helped that there were just two of us in the room for the weekend, a nice treat at a con where people talk about needing one or two more floor-dwellers to fill up their room that just has six people in it. I still do four to a room sometimes, though that's easier in rooms with two queen beds than the two double beds that are more common in the Marriotts we stay in. I can only assume their older building has rooms that are just a bit too small to have replaced the doubles with queens in their last round of renovations. Everyone else has been doing so.
While I'm working on rebuilding my basement, which I suspect is going to require a dumpster to dispose of lots of contaminated wallboard, carpet, and assorted ruined belongings, I should also work on getting rid of a lot of the stuff I have upstairs that I just don't need.
