As if the weekend weren't busy enough… (211.2)
This weekend was fantastic! Kelly and Supriya's weeklong wedding in July almost makes it feel brief -- almost -- but it really was three days of a terrific time with some awesome people. Getting to meet more of Alexi's family and any of Dave's family, as well as various friends from other parts of their lives, was a real treat.

But, as if that weren't enough, my parents were in town this weekend! It wasn't to visit me, or I could've said "Another time would be better." They were here for the Johnson Museum new wing's grand opening, and took me out to dinner on Thursday (when they arrived) and lunch on Saturday (right before leaving). They also brought me a nice bottle of port from their trip to Portugal, and something I can't remember from their trip to Maine. Hrm. Guess I'll have to update you on that later.

Needless to say, there wasn't as much sleep involved in the weekend as there was revelry, and I got up a little early today to take Dave's brother and sister-in-law (two of the especially awesome folks) to the airport, so even after a decent night's sleep, I'm a bit zonked! More sleep tonight, I hope, and lots of pics to come, on Facebook.

Oooo! How nice that you were able to see your parents on top of everything else.
