Thanks, Chris! (206.0)

All it took was popping a SIM in, any SIM, and iTunes now happily sees that old wiped iPhone as ready to use. I could restore my backed-up iPhone 4S (which would have been entertaining to watch it try) or just set it up as a new iPhone, so I did the latter. It's now syncing music over, so I'll have tunes for my next road trip without relying on radio. Albany and back, I knew I'd have plenty of radio signals at my disposal, but that'll be less true in the wilds of the North Country.

Today was pretty productive, and included a friend asking if I wanted to do some videography and photography that he doesn't have time for. Also talked with a couple of people about my idea for a downtown business, taking advantage of the Downtown Ithaca Partnership's "Race for the Space" offer... a year of free rent and newspaper advertising for one or two winning new-business proposals.
