Cornell and Ithaca College close due to weather. For an extra hour or so, at least. Both campuses are closed until 9:30am as of now, and unless the winter storm warning is massively off, I wouldn't be surprised if they push that opening time back even further. The snowfall is likely to be heavy from about 3am to about 10am, so the roads are likely to still be a mess when people would have to drive to work.
Most of the area school districts are slow out of the gate; my alarm is set for 5:30 so I can see what they've all decided, but it would've been nice if they'd all gotten it out of the way this evening, as they all did about a month ago.
Penny will be delighted! She loves romping in the snow, and it will be nice to have that snow with temperatures in the 20s (nice and comfortable for her) rather than hovering around zero.
