OK, so this was not the healthiest of eating weekends for me. I did have some vegetation (Thursday and Friday night at the hibachi place, and salad and such at the Golden Corral) over the course of the weekend, but I'd say it was overwhelmingly a protein and carbohydrate span.

So this afternoon my body said "You are having fresh vegetables tonight."

Who was I to argue?

Bought some fresh broccoli, portobello mushrooms, and shrimp, cooked them up with onions and peppers and garlic in olive oil, and served over linguini with grated parmesan and some fresh garlic bread on the side. Just what the doctor ordered!

(Yes, I realize shrimp are not vegetables. They were on sale, OK?)
