Change your clocks, change your batteries!

Remember, Daylight Saving Time ends tonight at 2am in most of the US. "Fall back;" change the clocks from 2am to 1am. (Just once. No infinite loops, please.) Don't forget, change your smoke detector batteries at the same time. If you change them every time the clocks change, you've got a good way to remember to keep fresh batteries in the detector. Don't wait for the low-battery beep. You might be out of the house and miss it, or get annoyed and take out the battery and forget to replace it. Replace it tonight or tomorrow!

Forgot to post last night how pleased I was that Judd Falls Road is finally open again! Saw the guys with orange NYSDOT jackets poking around yesterday morning, so I wasn't surprised to find the road open on the way home. There had been no work crew for days, so I figured they were waiting for the state to come do something.

The road badly needs a "Stop Ahead" sign on the uphill stretch, since you're coming around a curve and then suddenly there's a stop sign. And frankly, I don't think there's a good enough sightline up 366 if you come down to the end of Judd Falls Road and want to turn. Hope it won't be too bad.
