"And don't call me chief."

Just watched last night's Smallville. If you haven't seen it, and really hate all pre-knowledge, don't read what follows. It's not a real spoiler, though, especially if you already know who the episode's guest is.

I loved the line when Perry White (played by Michael McKean) called the sheriff "chief" and she ended the conversation by exclaiming, "And don't call me chief!"

The episode ended with a cover of Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis" that I'd never heard before. I love the original. Happily, it's the WB, and they end each show by telling you the performers of all the music on the show, and that you can buy it all at theWB.com. Even more happily, the iTunes Music Store had it... available by the album or just the individual song. 99 cents, baby!
