sleepyThe rest of my family hit the road pretty quickly after brunch, but I stuck around.
dharmabumx drove over to meet me so we could hang out for a little bit before the afternoon's football schedule got into full swing, and we explored the next-door mall. We spent the bulk of our time in a neat kitchenware store called "Sur la Table," where Beth got a Corona beer bucket after we poked around the neat books, appliances, gizmos, etc. I could spend hundreds on new kitchen toys, but first I need to play with the blender my folks gave me for Hanukkah, which isn't even opened yet!When she headed home to join
moosebraying for the football games, I said goodbye to the last couple of relatives who were setting out, and then hit the road myself. Since I wasn't in any particular rush, this time I decided to swing through College Park and pay a visit to kitchenqueen and sp_jesse and their son Kevin, and the dogs! Joy and I visited them all in December thirteen months ago, a couple of weeks after Kevin was born, and the difference is (not surprisingly) huge! Of course, I've seen them a few times since then, most recently in early October for Watkins Glen Weekend. Since then, he's become much more vocal and is walking around. Seeing all of them was a nice treat.I'm running out of steam, and work starts again tomorrow, so I shouldn't stay up much longer...
