Missed last week's premiere of "Joey," but decided to give it a shot tonight. There've been a few amusing bits, but it's not grabbing me. Matt LeBlanc is pretty good, which isn't a surprise, but I don't think it's going to hold up.

Best moments? Probably the interplay between Joey and Gina (his sister?). But it's a bit distracting that she's played by Adriana from "The Sopranos." Some promise with the scenes with the neighbor, too. Even more distracting than Adriana? That she's playing the mom of a character being played by an actor just five years younger.

NBC's not being very nice. "Joey" was listed as being 40 minutes long tonight, but wasn't quite that long. I got the several few minutes of "Will & Grace," which means anyone who wanted that probably missed the first several minutes. Tsk. Not a very nice "Super Size" strategy.
