Remembering Gramps

I just got home to the sad news that Burr Gould passed away on Friday, at 92. I must've first met him about four years ago at Sara's graduation party, and have been lucky enough to spend a couple of holidays and other celebrations with his family. The real privilege was being invited to his 90th birthday party almost three years ago. These pictures are from that day.

He did lots of skiing, sailing, and RVing. Odds are you didn't know Burr, and I'm both sorry for that and glad that I did. But you can get a pretty good idea of who he was by the 35 family members named as survivors in today's notice, and by the line, "He leaves behind a 2006-07 season pass at Greek Peak Ski Area and a new pair of skis."
