It turned out that, for a change, they were holding the connecting flights! They had to wait quite a while for the several of us transferring from San Francisco, and we actually then sat at the gate for at least a half hour longer. No idea what the deal was.
willdevine was kind enough to pick me up at the airport, and had with him some stuff I'd sent back from Philadelphia last weekend with him and the Cohens, so I didn't have to schlep it all across the continent and back. :-) But... my luggage didn't make it onto the plane, even though we'd been sitting in Philadelphia for plenty of time. There were about 20 people waiting in line to provide the requisite bag description and contact info. The next flight from Philly should get in tomorrow around 11:30, and no doubt all our bags will be on it. They can even toss Eric's and mine in the same cab, since we live a block apart.
Tired and hungry. Contemplating a snack, though I have no idea what's in the house. I do still have a Quaker Oatmeal bar in my laptop bag, I think. And then... I get to sleep in my own bed for the first time in a week and a half! Yay!
