I need practice...

This'll probably make a good topic for the next caffeineland podcast. I just tried to make cappuccino, and did not succeed. :-) I think I waited too long to steam the milk; I've had good luck using some of the steam from the espresso brew cycle to steam and froth the milk a couple of times, but it just didn't work this time.

This "universal espresso maker manual" web page suggests running the machine twice, it looks like... frothing the milk and then making the espresso. Seems worth a shot. I may do that later this afternoon, though I may regret the extra caffeine at 2am. ;-)

Meantime, the delicious Ithaca Coffee espresso was certainly satisfying, and I added the milk even though it wasn't steamed, for a sort of lactic Americano. (OK, no, it was just espresso and milk. But it tasted good.)
