Today's computer amusement... there's speculation that the two Daylight Saving Time patches Microsoft released (in November and last month) may have conflicted with each other in such a way that, on some Windows machines, the clock leaped ahead two hours on Saturday night. Some campus netadmins are scratching their heads trying to figure out the source of the discrepancy.

There's also speculation that some of the users may have set the clock ahead an hour manually, and then had the computer adjust another hour for Daylight Saving Time, but everyone insists that's not the case. And, just setting the clock back an hour gets it to settle down.
