He'll be my fourth CS houseguest (not counting couchsurfing members who I knew and hosted without CS help). I'm a big fan of this concept! Almost anywhere in the world, you can find someplace to stay at no charge, and if you have a couch or a bed, you can host a traveler and meet someone new.
One of my good couchsurfing experiences was the Colorado couple who stayed at my place while cycling around the Finger Lakes; they're the ones I had dinner with in Leadville last month, and they're the ones who recommended Diana Gabaldon's Outlander novels to me.
No specific plans yet, but if anyone's interested in meeting, dining, and/or hanging out with this Irish visitor while he's around (1-2 nights), let me know.
