Too warm for hockey!

The ice was kind of foggy for tonight's Cornell opening exhibition game against l'Université de Québec à Trois-Rivières, and honestly the hockey wasn't so great, but it was nice to see the season get under way.

pkdan joined me for the game and a great, quick dinner at [info]Maxie's Supper Club first. Pat took very good care of us, and we had some good oysters, a nice porter, and perfect entrees.

The hockey offered some decent skating, some decent passing, a few shots on goal, and a lot of penalty minutes. Honestly, Cornell got off easy on a few of the fights. No scoring; the game ended an overtime 0-0 tie.

Dropped Dan off after the game, and I'm now enjoying this past week's episode of "Cane" with a finger of rum. Seems like the perfect combination. (I'm going to skip the cigar.)
