The best part of trying out Empire Motor Car's Audi service department for my 35,000-mile maintenance and a few minor fixes was getting to have lunch at Cracker Barrel on the way. But rather than get my usual, I decided to try something different. So, I got Grandpa's Country Breakfast with eggs over easy, country fried steak, biscuits and gravy, grits, apple butter, and fried apples instead of the hashbrown casserole.
That certainly counteracts last night's awesome grilled portobello salad. (There's more of the salad for tomorrow's lunch.)
